Rev. Sr.T.F. Pauly(Sr. Percy)- 2006 onwards

If the heart of education is the education of the heart, Sr. Percy is the one who imbibes it to the full. As a motivating, endearing principal, she moves around practicing what she preaches and inculcating a culture that fosters a humane acceptance of things and people. She works on the plane of human minds, is noted for being accessible and understanding. If a true leader is someone who makes you feel good about yourself, Sr. Percy is such a leader empowering students and teachers with that wisdom. Sister's tenure is a period that witnessed challenging times (CBCSS) and Sister equipped teachers and students with the potential to address the changing scenario. She gives the freedom to work with an ambience that comes out of goodwill.

Rev. Sr. K.J. Mary (Sr.Charles)-2004 to 2006

 Sr. Charles the former principal and the member of teaching faculty of Botany Department is agile and elegant, having a refreshed and positive outlook. The dynamic personality in Sr. Charles helped her to be a very diligent administrator and an efficient co-ordinator. The NAAC re-accreditation work was done in a very effective and fruitful manner during her tenure as principal. Ten permanent teachers were appointed. She continues to be nourished within the garden of our hearts as a never fading bloom.

Rev. Sr. K.T. Mary ( Sr.Speciosa)-1995 to2004

Sr. Speciosa has taken the institution to its heights, carved a niche where heights beckon greater heights. An uncompromising and dedicated authority, she maybe called the maker of St. Xavier's of today. During her tenure the college has grown literally not alone in its physicality but in dimensions that kept pace with the times. The cutting edge of competence was explored through inculcating a new work culture and goal- oriented approach. The policy of holistic development she pursued for the students to empower them with confidence and to face new challenges is praise worthy. Under Sr. Speciosa's inspiring leadership, the college was accredited with four star in 1999. being hard on herself, she was easy on others, especially where it needed her humane touch. The less privileged were always there in her space. She constantly reminded herself and others about sharing and giving and about the divine Providence that made us all its humble instruments. The world has noticed Sr. Speciosa's unobtrusive service and The Rashtriya Gaurav Award and Certificate of Excellence has been conferred upon her by India International Friendship Society, Chennai for her 'outstanding contributions in the field of education.'Like a brilliant sculptor who sees the shape in the stone, Sr. Speciosa saw her ideal vision of a college in St. Xavier's. The clever administrator and visionary in her, worked hand in hand exploring all potential areas.

Rev. Sr. Infanta -1991 to 1995

Sr. Infanta as her name indicates is an incarnation of the innocence of an infant child. She is a dynamic personality and a woman of action. She had proved in life that the role of religion in a person's life is to purify a person so as to help him to be a messenger of peace, humility and goodwill. Her personal qualities are manifold - the thirst for perfection, high sense of discipline and courage to face any critical situation are only a few among them. Her efficient and able guidance helped much for the smooth and effective functioning of the college. Her enthusiasm for co-curricular activities is worth mentioning. She deserves the credit for the construction of the new library, reading room and the auditorium.

Rev. Sr. Bencita -1985 to 1991

 Sr. Bencita has the honour of being the second Principal of St. Xavier's College. One among the very first to be associated with this institution, she was instrumental in many years. With her profound knowledge in her subject, seriousness and sense of discipline, she steered the college towards functional excellence for 6 years. She was an excellent teacher, adorable administrator and reliable friend.

Rev.Sr. Redempta -1964 to 1985

Sr. Redempta has the unique honour of being the first Principal of St. Xavier's College. With her profound knowledge in her subject (Doctorate in Mathematics from Philadelphia University, USA), with her seriousness and sense of discipline, surmounting all initial hurdles, she steered the college towards functional excellence for 21 years. The zest for perfection and sense of dedication she radiated, filters down to her successors as an inspirational legacy
